Amy Giampoala is an artist currently residing in south Jersey with her two dogs, Dexter, and Luna. After a whirlwind of careers and various choices, teaching called to her to share the mental benefits of art making with the age group that needed that outlet the most. She has been teaching high school drawing and painting for the past 9 years. She graduated from Montclair State University with a bachelor's in art education with a concentration in ceramics in 2014.  She returned to school to focus on 2D surfaces and painting. She is an MFA painting candidate through Savannah College of art and design with graduation set for spring 2024.
